It’s been exactly a month since my last post on this blog, and a lot has happened within that time. I recently took up a managerial position at a multi-state brand in southwestern Nigeria while continuing to trade on the side. This role has been a great learning experience, teaching me how to manage multiple departments, lead a team, and report effectively to senior executives.
Trading Updates
Two significant events occurred in my trading journey over the past month:
1. Major Liquidation on February 3rd, 2025
I took a heavy hit when altcoins crashed, leading to a massive liquidation event of nearly $10 billion across the market. Unfortunately, I lost a few hundred dollars in the process. This was a tough but valuable lesson—never overexpose yourself to leverage trading, especially on volatile days like that. Keeping leveraged positions below 10% of your net worth is a smart move, while the majority of your funds should be in spot trading and other safer investments.
2. E8 Market Account Suspension
My $5,000 E8 Market prop account was suspended for no valid reason, even though my balance was sitting at $5,086+. I strongly suspect this happened because I share my trades openly on the 9jaCashFlow Telegram channel, and others copy my exact entries, stop losses, and take profits. Many prop firms don’t like group trading or signal-sharing, and this might have triggered their system to flag my account.
Moving Forward
No worries—we keep pushing! This just means I’ll be focusing more on trading my real account while also staying discreet about prop firm usage.
